Refund Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to every paid product on Aven Academy by Kartexa: the Career Finder report, the Stream Finder report, the Premium Career Suite, and the Resume Review — regardless of whether you paid via Razorpay or PayPal.
1. When a refund is granted
Refunds are granted only for genuine issues on our end — specifically:
- Report not generated: your payment succeeded, but the report itself failed to generate and was never delivered to your account.
- Double charging: you were charged more than once for the same single purchase (a billing/gateway error, not two separate purchases you intentionally made).
If your report was successfully generated and delivered to your account, the purchase is final and no refund will be granted — including for reasons like change of mind, dissatisfaction with the AI-generated content, or not using the report after purchase. This applies uniformly across the Career Finder report, Stream Finder report, Premium Career Suite, and Resume Review, regardless of whether you paid via Razorpay or PayPal.
2. Why — these are digital services
Every report on Aven is a digital product/service that is generated and delivered to your account automatically upon successful payment. Once a report has actually been generated, there is nothing physical to return and no way to "un-deliver" a digital service — so, consistent with how digital goods are generally treated under consumer protection frameworks (including India's Consumer Protection Act framework for digital goods), we don't offer refunds once delivery has genuinely occurred. The two exceptions in Section 1 exist specifically because in those cases nothing was actually delivered, or you were charged incorrectly — not because you changed your mind about something you received.
3. Failed or unsuccessful payments
This policy concerns completed, successful payments. If a payment genuinely failed or was never completed (for example, money was deducted from your account but Razorpay/PayPal never confirmed the payment as successful and your report was never unlocked), that is not a refund request — it's a failed-transaction issue, and:
- Any amount deducted for a failed/incomplete payment is typically auto-reversed by Razorpay or PayPal to your original payment method within a few business days, without any action needed from us — this is standard gateway behavior, not a "refund" we issue.
- If it isn't reversed automatically, or you're unsure whether your payment actually succeeded, contact us using the details in Section 4 below with your payment ID and we'll help you track it down.
4. Refund requests & disputes — contact us on WhatsApp
To request a refund under Section 1, or for any other payment dispute or concern — including a failed/unsuccessful payment as described in Section 3 — please reach out to us on WhatsApp:
Kindly share the following with us so we can look into your case quickly:
- Your Payment ID / Order ID (from Razorpay, PayPal, or the confirmation email we sent you)
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The email address you used at checkout
- A short description of the issue
Reaching out does not automatically guarantee a refund — it will be granted if your case matches Section 1 (report not generated, or double charging) after we verify it. We investigate every report in good faith.
5. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank/card issuer/UPI provider instead of contacting us first may delay resolution and can result in your access being suspended while the dispute is investigated. We'd rather resolve it directly with you — please reach out on WhatsApp first.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of Aven after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
